Chauffez vert (programme closed)

Programme closed available

A former Québec programme that funded replacing an oil- or propane-fired heating system with an electric solution. It has been replaced: since 2026, assistance is delivered through Hydro-Québec's LogisVert programme.

What is the Chauffez vert?

The Chauffez vert (programme closed) is administered by Government of Québec (closed) and available to eligible properties in Québec. It is designed to help homeowners reduce the upfront cost of installing low-carbon energy systems and improvements — supporting Québec's climate goals while lowering household energy bills.

This scheme supports installations including Air Source Heat Pump, Ground Source Heat Pump.

Am I eligible?

  • This programme no longer accepts new applications.
  • To replace a heating system with a heat pump, assistance is now offered through LogisVert (Hydro-Québec).
  • Insulation, air-sealing, and window work remain eligible under Rénoclimat.

Not sure if you qualify? A free home assessment from one of our RBQ-licensed installers will confirm your eligibility and identify every grant you can access.
